On a perfect Autumn day, New England Central 611 is seen heading South through Leverett, MA, and passing the 1,269-foot Mount Toby which is still showing some peak foliage. The lead locomotive is NECR 3474 which was built in January 1969 as an SD45 for the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy. Although still sporting the classic carbody and flared radiators its rebuild classification is an SD40M-2.
