Sunday Blues. In what was then an unusual move, Canadian Pacific Railway Train 250 arrived in Jackman, Maine on the afternoon of Sunday, February 28, 2021. Also unusual is that it was carrying freight for CP as the customer, with a trainload of continuously welded rail. Since CP has taken over this line (again) from the Central, Maine, and Quebec (CMQ) traffic has significantly increased and track conditions and speeds have improved. With a recent snowfall blanketing the scene under a winter sun, CP 8074 (AC4400CWM, Beaver Unit) leads 6232 (SD60) 6258 (SD60M)and 5936 (SD40-2) along the shores of Wood Pond.
