A westbound Canadian National potash train crawls along the Thompson River traversing spectacular White Canyon between Morris and Lasha, British Columbia, on September 27, 2015. Rockslides through here has given CN fits over the years, and necessitates the rock sheds over the tracks at several locations in this part of the rugged canyon, in addition of an almost constant need for a work train to keep the right-of-way clear of falling rock and debris. Canadian Pacific built its line through through here first, necessitating CN predecessor Canadian Northern Railway to use this difficult route on the other side of the Thompson River.
