20 Cylinders
Metrolink 609 shoves west to Los Angeles with an F125. When Metrolink was looking to purchase new locomotives almost a decade ago, they chose between two unique locomotives, those being the MPI HSP46 and the ProgressRail/EMD F125. While the F125 won the Metrolink bid, MPIs HSP46s were purchased by the MBTA Commuter Rail. To date, both of these locomotives are exclusive to their two operators, with the Siemens Charger platform being adopted in place of these two infamously-unreliable engines on most other passenger railroads.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
