The California Zephyr 6 train was having a bad day. Not only was it 16 hours late getting to the Moffat Tunnel, a bad bearing on one of the P42 engines necessitated the removal of that engine and the addition of UP 5518 (C45ACCTE) which would lead it to Chicago. That did, however, provide the opportunity to shoot the train in sunlight. Here the consist, which included two new Charger engines, runs through Rollinsville, Colorado in the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
