Locomotive Saint Leonard 030 built in 1889 in Liege (Belgium), which belonged to the railroad Torralba-Soria where served until the creation of RENFE (1941). The two wagons are fudres 17,000 liters that were used to transport wine in the nineteenth century. This composition, placed in front of Bodegas Muga, represents an old railway that was used to transport wine from Rioja to Bordeaux. In the late nineteenth century Bordeaux was a very powerful wine region that suddenly saw how the filoxera plague affected its vineyards and shattered it production. French winemakers sought a similar field to buy wine and thus came to Rioja. This was the origin of many wineries, now centenarian, who were settled around the Haro railway station, from where the fudres filled with wine departed to Bilbao and Hendaya and, from there, to France.
