Amtrak's westbound Pennsylvanian #43 charges west around the corner at the Cassandra Railroad Overlook. On the right, Norfolk Southern train 596 crawls up the grade. Being a doubled-up coal drag, there were two mid-DPUs as well as the standard SD70ACU helper set.
The electrified Northeast Corridor and Keystone Corridor have the traffic. The Pennsylvanian and Capitol Limited routed, which are all diesel, have the scenery.
