SP 7851 leads a northbound at Valley Jct. in Sauget, IL on Union Pacific's Chester Sub. This Southern Pacific train, which consisted of a little bit of everything (intermodal, auto-racks, manifest), is operating on trackage rights that historically gave Cotton Belt/SSW access to the St. Louis market via the Missouri Pacific. In 1994 it was SP operating over UP. Today, of course, it's all UP. 7851 has just passed a classic MP-era cantilever signal bridge that I believe still stands today.
