Empties headed for the yards. In the late afternoon light on warm day in April, East Broad Top Locomotive #16 takes a string of empty hoppers south to the yards in Rockhill Furnace, PA, after dropping their loads in nearby Mt. Union.
This image was captured on the high fill near Runk Road, during an April, 2023 photo shoot on the East Broad Top Railroad, organized by Lerro Photography.
