A Sunspot For The Daygo. BNSF Railway 3752 (ET44C4) crossed the Torrey Preserve over Los Penasquitos Lagoon at just the right time with a relatively early departure and a hole in the clouds on the evening of Friday, July 24, 2020 as it approaches Del Mar, California. This mixed manifest train is usually the only opportunity to see a freight train on this portion of the line. The train, which is symboled H-SDGBAR (San Diego, CA-Barstow, CA), is known pejoratively as the "Day Go" for its daytime departure.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
