MARTIN UTAH Aug 6 1981 — Utah Railway RSD-4 301 is tied down and awaiting its fate. Alco built the unit (b/n 78948) in February 1952 and delivered it on Feb 29 1952. It went into service on Mar 12 1952. Its last day of service was Dec 23 1980. The RSD-4 was retired on March 31 1981 and sold to Mountain States Machinery in Price Utah. It was scrapped at Martin Utah. Information from the excellent Web site utahrails.net. My photo.
