My great, great uncle Robert F. McKee, Sr., was a design engineer at Baldwin and he would give my father different Baldwin Locomotive Works builder's cards when my father would visit him in Collingswood, New Jersey. Here is the 0-10-0 built for the Alton & Southern Railroad, number 14. According to the specifications listed on the back of the builder's card, this engine and tender had a total weight of 559,800 lbs., and it had a tractive force of 80,500 lbs. This Baldwin Locomotive Works builders photo card is from the John R. Doughty collection.
