The D&I train out of Dell Rapids came in today as a monster 126x0, 17228/6950. Once to Sioux City, the train has to be delivered and yarded. 2 crews work off each end to make the delivery/yarding as easy as possible. The single unit was on the rear end, and they just have 10 left for the BNSF to deliver after yarding 84 rock. Now, the head end has 9 DDG for the UP and 22 for the CN. Here, they shove into the CN yard 1st. The train arrived on the track, and the single engine is on via BNSF trackage rights. Pulling and shoving around here is a daily routine.
