After nearly a decade of shooting Cement Wall from its northern end, the last time I shot it was the Eureka and Palisade #4 in 2012. I finally got some southbound action thanks to Dak Dillon and his Steam Charters we finally shot Cement Wall southbound once again. This time on this charter, we featured K-36 480, not backdated into a fictitious Rio Grande scheme that would have been out of place on this branch, but instead, just a mixed work train of Durango and Silverton work equipment that made for a great day of photography, even if the locomotive did not want to cooperate.
