On June 22nd, 2024, the MBTA/Keolis Geometry Train approaches Roslindale Village station while heading east on the Needham Line in Boston, Massachusetts.
Towards the end of June, 2024, MBTA/Keolis ran a Geometry Extra Train over several "South Side" commuter lines to collect periodic track measurement data while maintaining normal revenue speeds. The train consisted of MBTX F40PH-3C #1065, three previously leased MBB coaches still wrapped in CTrail colors, Amtrak's Amfleet I-based track geometry car "Corridor Clipper" (AMTK 10002), and MBTX Bombardier CTC-1B #1647.
