The leader originally was LN 8008, then was SBD 8008, before going to CSX as CSXT 8008. The trailing unit originally was SD40 PC 6045 before going to Conrail as CR 6298. Conrail rebuilt it to be an SD40-2R locomotive as CR 6971 and then it went to CSX as SD40-2 CSXT 8873.
