On August 2, just before 10 a.m., a catenary fault occurred in the Winterthur Tössmühle area. There was a complete disruption to services between Winterthur and Effretikon until around 1.30 p.m., as well as occasionally between Winterthur and Winterthur Töss. In the afternoon at 4.11 p.m., repair work could be observed in Winterthur Tössmühle, where 3 tracks from Winterthur join to form a double track in the direction of Kemptthal.
