Literally fresh out of the shop – in this case, Kansas City's Mid America Car – is BNSF GP60 170, sitting on the track outside MAC waiting to be picked up by (I believe) Kansas City Southern, whose Knoche Yard is adjacent to MAC. Recently refurbished Union Pacific Dash 9-44CW 9489 is coupled to it.
BNSF Railway 170 was built by EMD as a GP60B, but was recently rebuilt with a cab (donated from Union Pacific SD40-2 3751) into a "regular" GP60. (Note that the model designation on the sill calls it a GP60M, even though this engine has a standard nose rather than a safety cab, as other GP60Ms do.) In December 2017 this engine would get renumbered BNSF 200. This would be the only GP60B so rebuilt into a cab unit; most likely because the conversion was not cost effective.
