Open House Return. On Septmebr 19, 2024, MTA Metro-North Railroad announced open registration for the public to attend the October 5, 2024 "Open House" at Corton Harmon Shop. Amongst other units advertised to be on display will be P32AC-DM MNCW 214 (Employee Appreciation), one of five special wraps created for MNR's 40th Anniversary, seen here on Train 843 on September 10, 2024, coming around the curve in Marble Hill, New York, NY. There is a list of other equipment planned to be on display as well in the link, as well as information on a "scenic fall foliage ride" and an appearance by the original Metro-Man! While this event had been held on an annual basis, it has not been for many years, and so should be a well attended event.
