Despite the heavy clouds hanging strong thanks to the Detroit River, the sky did not dampen the mood of myself, Steven McKay and "The Guy"(along with several others) as CN L572, led by EJ&E 656 and GTW 5936, rolls south along the CN Dearborn Sub under the arches that Henry Ford built to power his trains. The electrification is long gone, but the Ford business is bigger than ever, as evidence by the dozens of auto frames rocking along down the jointed rail.
