Vermont Rail System recently moved some of the Pan Am Southern Railroad interchange back to Bellows Falls, Vermont, including the weekly limestone slurry train from the OMYA quarries in Florence, VT to Pan Am Railway for movement to Portland, Maine and the remaining paper mills north of Portland. On Saturday, June 25, running as GMRC 263X-25, the 55-car slurry train is running along side Vermont Route 103 in Mount Holly, led by VTR SD70M-2 432, GP40-2W 311, GP40-2 308, GP38-2 201 and GP38-2 206.
