Rio Grande EMD GP40-2 Nos. 3126 and 3121 switch the aggregates plant at the end of Rocky Spur leaving the main line at Rocky, Colorado, on February 21, 2002. During this era, two or three Rio Grande GP40-2s were regular power on Union Pacific’s West Local operating west, usually as far as Rock Spur, on the Moffat Tunnel Subdivision. Rio Grande No. 3126 has a ‘full light package’ that includes headlight, Gyralight, class lights and ditch lights!
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
