Not to call anyone out, but I'm somewhat confused as to where the rail content is in this photo. The bridge? I didn't really think RP was the place for boat photos...

Ironically it has not been added to Jean-Marc Frybourg's boatpictures.net album (yet).

Greg is posting a lot of Midwest photos from that era so maybe a little slack.

At any rate the the KK bridge is pretty well known, a very neat photo and the boat was a fan favorite. In the Midwest many railfans are also boat nerds, with the Lakers, Car Ferries etc. Tom Post was great example.

As an aside the Medusa had quite a reputation in Chicago as jinx boat. Bridges would not open and the boat would tie up several street crossings, or the bridge would not close after it passed.

It's not a derailment, a female, or Larry's Truck and Electric. I'm fine with it :D

Minimal railroad content, but the photo is doing quite well, and I like it too.
[Anyone else think it's leaning left?]

How do you know the boat isn't a "she"?:-)

Yes. I'm convinced that one of the screeners has trouble determining level. I see unlevel shots all the time, but I get busted for unlevel submissions quite often. While some are legit, more often then not I appeal, citing my reference verticals, and the shots get accepted.

Very much a female, all boats are. Medusa a female, very very bad.
