Wow. The difference between the two shots is quite something.

Though I couldn't help but notice that, in both cases, there's a bit of sloppy masking work around the locomotives. :lol:

Honestly speaking I would have tried to bring out the moon a bit too as you can hardly see it in Jim's shot, and darken the sky too, but not as severely as Kevin did. But it's that big white line above the horizon that really get to me.

People view photos on different levels, and I usually don't look that hard but since we are looking at details, the Johnston photo has a blurred tree lower right??? and the water and little piles of debris and one support seems blurred?? Not sure why. I like to look at reflections if I question a photo??

If I looked it up correctly the moon rises two hours before sunset so my guess it could not be very dark looking at the moon even though they are looking down??
