Cropping /ballance
Anything tips or thoughs on this one?
Is this one for the personal collection?

Do you have more room on the right? If so, crop out the dead space on the left and add some to the right.

Not really I have trees to deal with. I really wish 19 would have put the train on track 2 more room to play...

You have WAY too much dead space on the left side of the image -- as-is, I can't see that getting in. You might also get dinged for high sun; note how the front handrails are not casting a shadow on the nose.

If that's the maximum amount of zoom your equipment can achieve, for future attempts at that spot with a train on the south track try moving a few steps to the left and doing a vertical composition.

I think a vertical shot would be a lot better, with a bit of sky in the picture too perhaps. However, I also think that may lead to the shot being rejected due to the high angle and head-on sunlight. Here is an alternative 4x5 crop

Glad to see the vertical crop got in!

Thanks, was wondering about this train same location as the former CNWs
Too many clouds correct?

You got the better one on. I've leave it at that for now.

The other one has extreme high sun. I don't see it getting on.
