While this CSX train was crossing the diamonds I heard a CN eastbounder. The CN train kept creeping and creeping towards the diamonds. I thought they were gonna crash for a moment. The CN train applied it's brakes stopping about 150 yards away from the diamonds. I don't know what happened? Maybe miss-communications bewteen the two railroads.

Sounds like the CN train was merely creeping up to the signal, waiting for the CSX train to clear. If it was a near-miss, they probably would've been in emergency...
