A wonderfully artistic photograph! Unfortunately, it also points up the troubling nature of transporting millions of tons of dusty, uncovered coal across the landscape. Too bad that these effects are irreconcilable in this instance.

Nice shot! Makes you wonder what it was like to ride in a caboose behind one of these trains, especially on a hot summer day. Do you open the doors and windows and get black lung or do you bake?
