Thats sharp Mitch, in more ways than one. Lee

That orange looks a little weird on a steam loco, it really sticks out. It almost looks line neon lights.
Gee Mitch, have you switched to decaf now! Who could possibly be that steady? Maybe you missed your calling, with those surgeon's hands!
That's the last straw. You are the master. I'm ditching the cameras and taking up stamp collecting.
Terrific image; the panning technique you are using is a trendsetter - a 1/6 shutter was almost unheard of before VR and IS lenses became available. Congratulations on getting another 'great one.'
Another award winner Mitch. You are the pan-man!
Oh no! You didn't get the rods down! Regardless of where the rods were, that's a beautiful shot! (And a diesel shooting guy like me could honestly care less about the rods!)
Incredible shot, Mitch!
This is just one Great Shot.
The "Pan-master" is at it again. Nice one Mitch.
Nicely done Mitch! The background fits the photo very well.
Pantastic fanning!
Holy cow that's nice!
Another Mitch Goldman stunning pan... Super job.
I have to agree with the others...you're the "Pan-Man"! Excellent effort Mitch.
One of the sharpest pans I've seen....and at 1/6 to boot. Absolutely astounding Mitch!
High quality stuff Mitch, well done
Simply perfect... Amazing shot Mitch!
Fantastic shot, I knew that this was one of yours Mitch just by looking at the thumbnail.
Alright Mitch, not much left to say about this one. Just an outstanding shot!

Superb shot Mitch! Long live steam pans!
Another one of those shots for which I have to stand in line to get in a comment. Thanks again Mitch. I had to look twice to make sure this was not an N guage model.
Excellent, probably the best pan shot I have seen, I love the sense of speed.
Great shot Mitch! I've always liked pan shots because of the impression of speed. I think the orange is a nice highlight on the engine, not to much, just right!
Mmmm . . . . two different bogies on the tender, very interesting. What f/stop did you use with the 1/6th?
Pan Man does it again! Some day I hope I can tag along with you while you shoot one of these images. - Steve Crise
