Very nice shot Marty, one of very few shots of the RI crossing the PRR at Beverly. Those diamonds are long gone now, but the crossing guard signals are still in the trees near this location.

My grandmother grew up in the upstairs of this station before the Great Depression. My great grandfather worked for the Rock Island as stationmaster. It's interesting to think that those coaches were probably in service when my relations were there. Thanks for this rare view of the station!
