Taggarts is probably one of THE coolest places anywhere to be found on the old UP.

Indeed! And the restaurant on the north side of I-84 is fabulous. The perfect way to spend a lunch hour along UP's Evanston Sub.

While I am not overly fond of single unit trains, I do like the location. I was fortunate to visit once with Blaze and do some hiking in the area.
