Very cool, Mike! Doesn't look much like any place in Pennsylvania, nor few places on the planet.

Thanks for this great shot of this remote stretch of railroad. Like the Milwaukee Pacific extension, this was a well engineered railroad that should never have been abandoned, what a shame.

SP and S must have had a "devil" of a time engineering this piece of railroad! Excellent photo!

Great shot, Mike! I try to get down that way whenever I'm out in the Palouse just to gaze at the engineering marvel that is the line between Kahlotus and Burr Canyon... and I never cease to get depressed that trains will never again pass by.

Fantastic!

Wow, I remember passing through this area in the summer of 88 I don't recall if I saw any trains or not but I will have dig the slides out from that trip and see if I was lucky enough to photograph a train on this line. Thanks for sharing.

Each submission is better than the last. Good shot, Mike! Thanks for sharing.

Great photo. Like Dave, I'd love to see just one train running on this fantastic line again.

Been out here and seen what is left of this line and how is was built, it is pretty cool line. Too bad BN didnt keep it, it would of been one of my favorite lines to photograph today. Thanks for sharing this photo from this line. The Snake River area was way cool!

This is the closest I could get to replicating a Jean-Marc Frybourg photo without getting on an airplane and needing a passport. Thanks for the compliments everyone.
