What a nice shot. This could quite easily be almost any town in B&M territory.
|
Great shot of small town USA. Nice vintage Mopar in the foreground!
|
Back in the day when junk trains were interesting to look at. Nice!

A great slice of Americana! This is an excellent shot.

Great colours, could pass for a Lionel diesel girls set!

A cannon...now THAT'S crossing protection.

Super neat photo of the SW-1 and boxcars of fallen flags.

Well done. Plenty for the eye to look at and all tastefully placed into the scene. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Beautiful shot of quintessential New Hampshire. I've been staring at this photo for a good five minutes, enjoying the beauty. On a minor note, this is Route 31 and is known as Forest Road in Lyndeborough. It becomes Main Street in Wilton after Route 31 takes a right hand turn onto Island street to head south along Route 101.

I had to look closely to see that it wasn't a model. the composition really makes it look like it could have been a model. I wish we had seens like this still, but with big power on almost every railroad its impossible to find.

Wow thanks for posting...I love everything about this shot !

Great shot and it looks like good inspiration for a model railroad!

Wow great shot and it looks like good insperation for a model railroad!
|
Brings back many New England memories of seeing a B&M switcher or a Conrail local.
|
This is a great shot, it captures the essnence of branch line railroading in New England.
|
It does look a lot like a model. It's nice to see an Illinois Central Gulf box in the scene.
|
I agree with quintessential. We are all enjoying this image. Shamefully B&M pulled the plug on New Hampshire too early.
