Wow, and to think that in the 70s at this very spot I chilled in the tower, sipping iced tea and waiting for the next train to come. Nice shot. Thanks for documenting this little piece of history. I think most of us railfans sort of cling to the past and this change induces some nostalgia for my younger days. There's is no doubt it should have been done.
