It seems that not of the crews, dispatchers or managers know how to do a saw past to get long trains by one another at a siding. Sure, it is a time consuming task, but it certainly can be done in 2-3 hours if the crews know how it is done. Time to go back in the railroading annals some 5 decades to renew some of the basics.
