CP never owned any DC traction GE's. These are AC4400CWs that have had their original inverters removed and replaced along with a new cab. Thus far only NS, QNSL and (a few) BNSF locomotives have made the DC-to-AC jump. Hopefully that will grow in the future.

Those units were rebuilt from AC4400's. CP never had any C44-9W's as all 1995 and beyond deliveries of all new units delivered to CP have been AC powered.
