One You Tuber had documented what a mess this diamond was in and figured it was only a matter of time until it was replaced or a wreck occurred. I know these are costly and cost the railroads downtime, but is needed when they wear out. The way the overhead crane has this positioned seems to be working as it is moved into place. Lots of Yellow Jackets busy as bees so early in the morning.

was the photo taken from AC tower? Wow how different this looks compared to your other photo from just a few days before. Was this a planned rebuild, or a post derailment? Also how many MOW personnel does take to replace a grand diamond? The answer is 26
