Q455 passes an ACL whistle post in the tree tunnels of South Georgia. I'm not sure what happened to the nose, but hopefully the shop was more skilled at welding than painting.
Right before that A038 with #8484 arrived (which can be found here https://www.railpictures.net/photo/722381/ ), Q441 rolled past with a duo of AC44s and engineer with a sense of humor.
CSXT #8484 is one of sixteen EMDs left on the roster still in YN2 paint. This veteran, built originally as a Pennsy SD45, leads train A038 as it drops ties along the main down to Race Pond.
CSX 3392 leads a southbound K train bound for Florida. Just south of us another train is waiting in the siding, waiting for this one to go by.
