Passing a MILW Depot the arch is over line that went to Austin,MN and was the original line to St Paul,MN before the River Sub was in.
The DM&E Plow extra is stopped at Calmar to check over the plow and get a bite to eat. This crew is working on the Mason City Sub today between Mason City and Marquette to flange and widen drifts.... (more)
Last winters snow and wind was an everyday chore till it got above 32 and crusted over. The ICE ( DME ) ran a Russell plow to nock back the drifts and keep them from getting to big.
