Even though we are in a whole different valley. The Wasatch mountain range provides a nice backdrop for UP 5339, 4873, 5423 at Lofgreen, Utah.
UP 5339, 4873, 5423 are just a grinding it out, on a giant fill at Pehrson, on the Lynndyl Subdivision.
Just enough power, this portion of the line is a pretty good climb. Rolling along at around 20 miles an hour, it's not a very long train, but it must be heavy. I think it's the MOGWC.
With some fresh snow this week, I decided to run out this morning, to see if I could catch a train. UP 5339, 4873, 5423 lead a westbound manifest on the Lynndyl Subdivision.
SD70ACe-T4 3081 leads a MOGWC this morning. Must of been a heavy one, as the three units up front and the DPU were all working hard.
Thanks to a timely, heads up from a friend. I hurried out of bed and was able to catch a SD70ACe-T4 3081 on the MOGWC this morning.
