FRVR 4504 departs Fond Du Lac, WI. with a southbound freight in July of 1989. This portion of the ex-CNW Airline was still a thru route in FRVR days, but has since been cut back to Eden, WI.

Part of a string of power awaiting assignment at the home of the old Interstate Railroad. These days the place is far less busy and a four-axle is very rare.
Norfolk Southern local has come out from Winston to deliver interchange to the Yadkin Valley Railroad. The trim little station still has the sign from its Southern Railway days.
