This ballast train had been tied-up since the previous afternoon, but was now posing in morning sunlight for a photo. Nice selection of power.
Snow-melt has churned up the tributaries of the Flathead River so no alpine blue colour to the water unfortunately.
This location just had to have been planned for railroad publicity shots ... right off the side of Route 2 at that!
