Thanks, also I am considering getting a D40x, and I have an old 50mm E Series and am considering getting a 100mm lens... anyone know what these would be on the D40x?

Unless you're talking about buying used, it's pointless to buy the D40x instead of the D60, since it is generally selling for less at this point since it is already ageing. Amazon will reflect this.

Having never seen or heard about the lens before viewing that link, I can without a doubt promise you its a crap lens that will produce crap images based on the fact 1) its a 3rd party lens and 2) its $69.00.

Alot of people new to the hobby (and for that matter, some people who have been in the hobby for a few years) seem to always miss the point that your are not buying a name brand for the body, you are buying it for the lenses.
