What does a flanger do?
It clears space for flanges.
And how do you pronounce flange?

Rhymes with slice, rice and mice, and probably should be spelled like "Tice."

Since one pronounces "flange" as flanj . . . I would have thought it would be a flan-jer . . .

After saving her entire life, a woman gets off a plane in Honalulu and walks up to the first flower vendor she sees, an elderly little wrinkled man, and she ask, what is the proper pronunciation of your beautiful state, is it Hawaii, or is it Ha-va-ee? The man says, "Ha-va-ee." She says, Thank you. He says, "You're velcome."
