I'm not going to look through the database, but I'm sure there are shots of track workers on RP. Yours looks really good technically-wise. One concern is that it needs to be cropped so you're not cutting adude off on the left and there is a little too much room to the right in my opinion. Otherwise, I like it a lot.

My thoughts exactly. Recrop and it should be a worthy addition to the database. There are definitely not enough human interest railroad shots on RP.

This.

Have a go at it, Dave. It's a well exposed and sharp image. Just needs a little tightening and I'd think that it would get accepted. You couldn't have caught the workers in any better position than this. It almost looks posed. Good stuff!

Lol! It looks like 4/7 of them are Supervisors, and #7 is the new guy that has to listen for trains to approach.

What I consider to be one of my better shots here was rejected the first time around. It needed some editing that I was not capable of doing at that time, however with some more editing experience under my belt, another stab at it half a year later met with more success. Sometimes, even a good shot will get rejected for a seemingly silly reason... but a little more work gets the job done. It's really about keeping the standards up.
