High sun at 1747?

Well I lost my right to appeal ages ago, so this one won't be getting on, but a high sun rejection for a photo taken at 1747 in the evening? The light is very head on, but that's the last commuter run of the day there.

I don't believe for a New York second that anyone looks at the timestamp in the EXIF, so the image itself is evaluated based on the observed lighting. My guess is that they looked at the lack of a shadow from the train, and saw the shadows from both the bridge and the signal bridge, both of which are almost directly below the structures themselves, and immediately concluded that the sun was high overhead. Unfortunately, it's difficult to argue with those observations.

The rejection I once got for something like that was photo on shadow side. Anyway hard to see much shadow anywhere except under the trucks, even the bridge shadow is straight down so looks like high sun, sunset is another 3 hours and maybe a Canadian thing?? Sun is to the north now and high. Not saying it should be rejected.
