Default Strange power mix - wonder if either of these frames could work

Took these back in March 2019, of a trio of WRIX switchers working along the sand dunes on the north side of Coos Bay, OR. Picked these two shots in particular because of the dune buggy in the background, but the angles are a bit iffy... could either of these work with some editing? Though I do see some vegetation that could be a problem... unfortunately that's unavoidable.

I don't see either working. They would get an obstructing objects rejection and/or cloudy rejection I would think.

I had a fiddle with one of the images just to see what I could do.

It would probably get dinged for
  • Distracting foreground
  • Detracting object (Dune buggy)
  • High sun
  • Harsh lighting
  • Nose light
  • Not the sort of thing we want
I'm just having a bit fun, to be honest I don't know how it would go.

Cheers,

Chris.

A shame, too, as that is an odd array of switchers.

By the way, that first image of leaning to the left.
