Default How should I level this?

http://www.railpictures.net/viewreje...key=1078990341

Any hints?

The side-on angle was intended to show the loco in the middle as these locos are not normally coupled, infact that operator generally doesn't have locos coupled to anything other than power vans or passenger cars.

Oscar, I would use any number of the buildings in the back ground to get the photo level. Hope that helps. Approx 1.42 CCW of the building in the centre. Could have a small perspective problem that needs correcting, but i will wait to see what others say.
Regards Lee

I think it might get dingerd for cropping once you straighten. looks like the loco at bottom is too close to edge. But thats just my eye.

Okay, thanks.

While I'm here, any suggestions as to how to crop this fairly side-on photo? I have a few different shots of this train to play with, but every time I try something that does not resemble a wedge shot it seems to get 'bad cropping'

With the second shot, I would try to take quite a large crop off the right hand side and go for a size of 1024 x 768 - you might have to shave a bit off the top and / or bottom as well so that the picture is not too square.

Although I realise that you might want to keep the loco in the background, the bright yellow cab does draw attention away from the main subject a little.
