Default Ya know what's amazing?

You know what I find amazing? Just how much RP gets used.

I've lost track of the times that I've seen pictures from RP show up in presentations by students and researchers. Just last week during the first Rail Engineering Education Symposium, I think I counted at least 4 or 5 RP shots showing up in our presenters presentations. I keep hoping one day someone unknowingly pulls one of my shots for a presentation.

Funny you mentioned this. Two days ago at work, the woman two offices down emailed me a powerpoint presentation made by her brother who works for CSX. I recognized nearly ALL of the pics as being from RP, and I can only assume the few I didn't recognize were just a result of my bad memory.

I guess that is a compliment to the quality of photos on this site.

Ha, so it's not just me. And I went back through the presentations, turns out it was more like 10-20 pictures in all of the presentations. Though, what was even funnier was that in one presentation featuring the Acela, and it had a picture from a Bachman advertisement. I guess it's a testament to the people at Bachman.

A few weeks ago someone asked if they could use this photo:

for a presentation he was going to do, and I said is long as it's not a "ban the trains" or some such thing he could feel free to use it. At least some folks do ask first, I only wish now I had asked for a copy of the presentation, would've been neat to see one of my photos printed by someone other than myself!
