Bad color that I can't see

See these two attempts at one photo. Second one has a bit more saturation over the first one. Still got the same - bad color. I can see neither excess/lack of saturation nor color tint on the second one.

I didn't even see the train until you mentioed the driver.

As far as the rejection. The actual saturation of the colors look OK to me, but it looks a little muddy/watery. It give the appearance of a so-so scan of a print.

So... I've go two other bad colors with this pic:

Any thoughts? I still can't see what are the screeners pointing at... I've played a bit with the trees colours so they matched my other photos from the same evening and result is the second reject.

If it were my shot, I'd work on the color cast first. It appears to have a yellow tint on the shot.

Joe, do you refer to the first or second reject in my last post? I have increased yellow saturation of the leaves in the second reject to better match colours of another picture taken some 20 minutes after the one I'm working at:



The tree species are different in these two pics though, so it's no more than a hint for me...

The funny thing for me is that only the green of leaves is weird but other "reference" colours are OK (like the patches of blue in the sky or the red on the second car or the grey of the concrete wall).
