i went to the train station for the first time yesterday and just wanted a opinions if the quality of the shots were up to par of what is accepted on the website here. I have been plane spotting for 5 years now but that is a totally different ballgame. Id appreciate any tips or tricks you guys use.
I'm sure the vets here can help you a lot more than I can, but I will say that most of your shots have shadows on the nose of the engines. RP usually bounces those out for poor lighting.
The quality on your photos seems to be pretty much up to par, but next time try to get the sun behind you, and try to show more of the train and the background. The roster shots are nice, but when you can show more of the train and some of the scenery, it tends to increase your chances of getting a photo accepted.
